Homeschooling Methods - Learning Styles Assessments

Methods
Unschooling is a progressive method of homeschooling wherein the child is allowed to follow his or her own interests in self-directing an educational path.

Unschoolers believe that given adequate time and resources, an individual will learn what he or she needs to know. The parent guides the child when support is requested, but otherwise allows the natural curiosity inherent in all children to dominate, in effect following the child's lead.

Unschoolers must surround the child with learning opportunities, from a multitude of sources and experiences. Life-long learning is the goal and reality of unschooling practice.
