Homeschooling Methods - Learning Styles Assessments

Methods
Waldorf is another method in the vein of child-led education. The Waldorf method advocates a rich learning environment, in which songs, poems, storytelling and imaginative play take a strong role.  To promote concentration and perseverance, handwork is encouraged through weaving, knitting, toy making and woodworking.

In the homeschool setting some of the lessons to be drawn are:
  • Encouragement of creativity
  • Fantasy play
  • Co-operation
  • Nature as teacher
